Digital Photography Exposure Workshop by FotoMission – FREE to Barry University Students

Coming up on September 22 I will be teaching a digital exposure workshop for FotoMission at Barry University. I have taught this workshop several times for FotoMission since 2010 and I am excited to be presenting this seminar at Barry University, where I graduated during 2003 with a BFA specializing in Biomedical and Forensic photography.

About the Seminar:

Exposure is the most essential aspect of digital capture. An optimal exposure is crucial in achieving the best possible image quality.

This one-day workshop will concentrate on the theory and practice of digital photographic exposure utilizing professional methods:

  • Light metering techniques
  • Digital exposure
  • Tonal distribution along the grayscale and its ranges
  • Utilization of the camera’s controls
  • Understanding and using the histogram

You learn exactly what to do and what to expect as a final result. After completing this workshop, you will be able to create technically superior photographs with the visual impact that you have been striving to achieve.

This is a prerequisite workshop for those interested in attending the following workshops:

  • Studio Portrait Lighting
  • Studio Fashion Photography
  • Modifying Available Light on Location
  • 3-dimensional Contrast

Limited to 20 participants.
